When looking for Norway flights, there is a range of options to consider.
Fly into Oslo Gardermoen (OSL), Norway's capital airport, from Gatwick, Heathrow, Dublin, Edinburgh and Manchester. The capital boasts a plethora of museums, shops and historic sites such as the Norwegian Royal Palaces. It also has a fantastic nightlife and cafe culture.
Oslo is only a short drive or train ride away from Oslo Torp, which has flights from Edinburgh, Liverpool and London Stansted.
Oslo is also a short distance from Jotunheikmen, Norway's best known national park. In the heart of the Norwegian countryside, this rugged and spectacular landscape has been unchanged for hundreds of thousands of years and boasts sky blue lakes and ancient glaciers.
Stavanger (SVG) airport is also a short drive from the national park and can be accessed from Gatwick, Heathrow, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Newcastle.
A further alternative for getting to Jotunheikmen National Park is to fly into Bergen (BGO), which can be accessed from Gatwick, Heathrow, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Inverness, Kirkwall, Manchester and the Shetland Islands. Bergen is a fantastic stopping point, with its historic waterfront at Bryggen.
Visitors looking for Norway flights to see the world famous Geirangerfjord and the Seven Sisters may consider flying into either Bergen or Alesund (AES) and Trondheim (TRD); both have flights from London Gatwick.
Haugesun (HAU) is another great airport to see Norway's Western Fjords and has flights from London Stansted.
Kristiansand Airport, Kjevik (KRS) is handy for passengers travelling around the south of Norway.
If you just want to go straight up to the Arctic Circle and see the northern lights, Tromso (TOS) is Norway's most northerly airport.
